My Mission
As a child, I constantly loved making music and drawing. I felt freedom in the art classroom setting and that made a difference in my life. When I was faced with the question of: What do I want to do when I grow up? I always knew it was something to do with the arts. Eventually I realized that I felt most rewarded when working with children. As I've furthered my education, I have learned that there is so much more to art education and that art plays a role in teaching children about their cultures and appreciating the world world that they live in. Especially with everything going on in the world right now, we are losing this connection. I hope that out of all the things that I teach my students, they truly get a deeper understanding of themselves and their part in our world.
